Dance with Flavia workshops have been developed and refined by Flavia over many years, during which time she has taught thousands of people across the UK, from complete beginners discovering dance for the first time to more experienced dancers looking to develop their skills. Designed for participants attending without a partner, Flavia will take you through a routine, gradually building the choreography while incorporating the steps, technique, musicality and character of the dance. Flavia's approachable teaching style means complete beginners can feel comfortable and confident taking part, while more experienced dancers can be challenged with additional technique and detail. WHEN: Saturday 20th Feb 2027 WHERE: Tutbury Village Hall TIME: 1:30-3pm Flavia Cacace is one of the UK's most recognised and respected professional dancers, best known for her years as a professional dancer on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, where she lifted the Glitterball Trophy with her celebrity partner Louis Smith. Alongside her television career, Flavia has enjoyed huge success on stage with her long term professional dance partner Vincent Simone. Together they starred in the critically acclaimed productions Midnight Tango, Dance 'Til Dawn, The Last Tango and Tango Moderno performing to audiences across the UK and internationally. Flavia has also built an extensive career in her own right, working across television, live events, performance, teaching and presenting. Her experience has seen her work with people of all ages and abilities, bringing the same professionalism, warmth and enthusiasm to her individual projects as she has throughout her performance career. Teaching has always been an important part of Flavia's career. Over many years she has taught thousands of individuals and couples across the UK, developing a teaching style that combines her extensive professional knowledge with a warm, encouraging and accessible approach. Flavia holds a Fellowship with the UKA (United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dancing) and is passionate about making dance enjoyable and accessible to everyone. Through Dance with Flavia, she brings together decades of experience as a performer, dancer and teacher to create workshops that are welcoming, engaging and, and, above all, great fun.
