How many of you dream of dancing with the Strictly pros?!
Be honest, how many of you dream of dancing with Giovanni Pernice?!
Well, that is exactly what me andsome of my FitSteppers had the opportunity to do in Nottingham in January as Giovanni and Pasquale La Rocca brought their Ballando dance classes on tour.
We started the day with Cha Cha Cha. Drilling some basic steps before moving on to a short choreographed routine. We learnt the technique of the steps as we went along to create a short, fun routine danced to some slower music to start and progressing to something a bit faster!
Much the same format was followed for the next class which was Jive - a favourite in our group and a dance style we were all very much looking forward to! It was a high energy and fast paced routine and class and we all certainly had a sweat on afterwards.
In between classes was an informal meet & greet - a chance to chat with Giovanni & Pasquale and get a few selfies!
If you enjoy ballroom and latin dance and are looking to stretch your ability and learn new technique from world class teachers, I can't recommend these classes highly enough!
