What should I wear to my FitSteps class?

This is a really common question that I get asked all the time, and it's no surprise! FitSteps is a class that very much transcends the worlds of dance and fitness, and with such a strong dance element, it often leaves people wondering if they should be wearing certain clothes, or special dance shoes.

Not to mention all the fancy outfits, sequins and fake tan that we are used to seeing on telly on Saturday nights during Strictly season! There is definitely a perception that ballroom and latin dancing has a certain "look" to it.

But, never fear!

FitSteps is a dance fitness class like any other - no special clothing is required! In fact, it's as simple as grabbing a pair of trainers and some comfy fitness clothes.

For many people at my class in Rolleston on Dove, that's as simple as a pair of leggings, and strapless or short sleeved top to stay cool that they wear to their FitSteps classes 😎

You will need to stay hydrated as with any fitness class, so it's a good idea to bring a drink - and especially during the Summer months, you may want a sweat towel, too!
